I Would like to say special thanks to H.E. the Chinese Ambassador, who is not here, but his representative the Honorable Deputy Head of Mission is here. He was the first one who came to the Ministry of Commerce for congratulating me for the new position and to our government. China was a long-term development partner and largest trading partner of Bangladesh. So, we hope that their continuous support for development of Bangladesh will continue. I request H.E. that they should invest more in this country. especially in supply chain logistic. As you know, we have developed roads, highways, bridges, but our logistic supply chain system is still week. When I went to China in 2012-13 their first Belt and Road initiative from Dhaka stock exchange I found that they have a supper supply chain system from vegetable to industrial goods. I mean their supply chain is robust. So, I think all the business communities here present today that they need to more in supply chain and find out how we can make seamless supply from the producer to the ultimate consumer.
